Issue 34: Happy New Year

While our Cycling Digest didn’t get started until late into 2023, we did enjoy what we were able to do and accomplish last year. However, we are even more excited about what 2024 will bring for Off The Back. We hope to continue bringing you more of this little collection of cycling media throughout the upcoming year, and we hope you continue to enjoy it. If you do enjoy it, please consider sharing it with friends. As more folks join our little peloton, we hope to be able to add more features and continue on with what seems to be of interest to you. It should be exciting (or at least slightly interesting). Happy New Year.

As 2023 comes to a close, we’re taking one final look back at the 2023 racing season (then it’s all about the Tour Down Under and the 2024 season that’s right around the corner). For our retrospective analysis, we’re looking towards Rouleur’s year-end-review (because they have great writing and great photos).

It’s the new year, and there are a lot of folks showing off their new kits! MvdP has been showing off his rainbow bands while winning a lot of cross races. MvdP is also done with rude spectators. MvdP also arrived at a race in a Lamborghini—this guy is something else! Here are some more amazing phots from the Mark Gunter Photo Awards. If you want an amazing desktop or screen saver photo, these are available. The Mauna Kea volcano KOM has changed hands—does anyone know if this is easier or harder than the Zwift Volcano KOM?
