We live by one golden rule here at Off The Back: Avoid hyperbole, it’s the absolute worst. It always over promises and under delivers. It drives us crazy—practically to brink of madness. Out of all of the figures of speech, it is the one to be most avoided it you are to be a successful writer. That being said, we were definitely intrigued by the promise of “The Inside Story Behind the Most Insane Bike Change in Pro Cycling History” by Velo.
