Lizzy Banks, professional cyclist, has an important story to tell. Last summer she was notified that she had allegedly tested positive for banned substances. She spent the next nine months (and her own money) preparing her response and defense only to be notified five days prior to her hearing that the charges were being dismissed, essentially removing Banks’ opportunity to defend herself and to take issue with a system that is broken.
